This educational vocabulary application, compatible with iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch®, features all 56 full-color photo flash cards from the Homophones Photo Fun Deck® by Super Duper® Publications. The app offers audio narration of each card's text, facilitating an interactive learning experience. Educators can select specific cards for students to review, encouraging them to fill in the blank with the correct word among homophones that sound alike but differ in spelling and meaning. Prompts include statements such as, “___ is my favorite color” and “Yesterday, Karla ___ Ben a story.” An Automatic Scoring feature provides immediate feedback by allowing students to choose from two answers to complete each sentence correctly.

The interface of the app is designed for simplicity and ease of use. Each student views an illustration and can either read the prompt or tap the screen to hear the prompt and answer options audibly. Responses are submitted by touching the desired answer. Navigation between cards is facilitated by sliding the current card aside, while switching between players can be accomplished by tapping the bar at the top and selecting a name. The Auto-Advance setting enables automatic progression through cards and players. Users can pause a session at any point and resume later via the menu options. Upon completion, results can be viewed graphically, printed, or emailed for record-keeping or analysis.
